It was the most fun science camp I have ever done. Everything was very clear, simple and precise. I think I now understand the world more and I’m more confident explaining the world around me.
After the Quantum Smart camp, my surrounding went from just surroundings to things I can explore on and discuss with others. The way I see the world changed dramatically. Before the camp, I was like an outsider, but now since I know more about the world, I feel like I’m a part of them.
I see the world in a different perspective because I know a lot more about everything and new questions form in your head like… When does space end? Or what do you get when you add all the elements of the world together?
When I look at something now, after this camp, I am acutely aware of everything going on under the surface of the object. We humans are incredibly limited, but now that I have the knowledge of the quantum world, I think about photons when I turn on the light, for example.
Before the quantum camp, I didn’t fully grasp how big the universe is and how small the particles were. I also now have a deeper understanding of how the world around me works.
Now I see the world in a different way. This camp was amazing. Before, I was always interested in science, but I was shocked to hear about the concepts of quantum mechanics.
I think my friends would really like the camp, but they might be a little hesitant at first because quantum mechanics is supposed to be really complicated.
I really enjoyed how things were explained, and the presentation, and the fact that she tried to make it easier for us to understand. It was extremely interesting to listen to. When I look at the world I now think about everything that makes it up.
It was strange but entertaining. I now know that we are 99% nothing, empty.
This is something outside the school curriculum but is worth your time. Dr. Gee made it so much easier to understand the quantum world. I had a fascinating week and so did my classmates. Definitely a “to do” camp.
Everything was interesting because I had never heard of it before. The instruction is great! I now think that the world MIGHT be a simulation. This camp made me change my perspective of the world.
I would recommend this camp to friends because you will learn, have fun and be able to explain and amaze your friends with quantum physics.
I absolutely loved learning about the quantum world and I think that everybody should know about it. It’s not at all hard to understand, so any age group could learn it.
Before I came to this summer camp, I just thought walls were walls and chairs were chairs, then I learned that everything is moving. Now when I look at a wall or a chair, it’s moving and I can almost see the plants grow, that’s how I see the world differently. This camp was a new thing for me and I really liked it.
All the instruction was great. The lessons were captivating, the activities were fun, and Goksenin was an amazing teacher who inspired me to learn more and go after my dreams.

Course was well designed and well presented with humour and competence.
I found the instructor to be very engaging and enthusiastic and liked the mixture of notes and videos.
Goksenin is a fabulous instructor. She presented an extremely difficult subject in a way that we could understand, and if we didn't, she was open to questions and comments. She is a consummate instructor, very knowledgeable about the subject yet friendly and approachable.
Enthusiastic lecturer and good use of videos plus experimental demonstrations made for great lecture.
